Paul Hoelen
Originally born in New Zealand of Dutch and American parents, Paul has managed to put his four passports to good use. After much exploring he eventually chose to base himself in the beautiful, wild island of Tasmania in 1998.
Paul has won numerous accolades and awards both nationally and internationally, most recently of which is the AIPP Tasmanian Professional Photographer of the Year 2013 and the Tasmanian Professional Landscape Photographer of the Year 2013 and Highest Scoring Print Award 2013. He was also AIPP Tasmanian Professional Photographer of the Year in 2011 and Runner Up again in 2012, as well as Finalist for NZIPP Overseas Photographer of the Year 2011 in NZ. He has also been awarded his honorary title of Master of Photography in both New Zealand and Australia.
When not galavanting around, his work is based in Hobart. He works commercially with many Tasmanian based hotels and businesses, shoots a large range of events, captures boutique weddings and unique natural light portraiture, and continues to build his collection of unique fine art landscapes.
